Experience

I tutor my friends in college-level English and French classes. I push them to figure questions out on their own and go over wrong answers on exams and assignments. I also help people I know with college-level essay writing. Being an honor student, I have a lot of experience with honors-level professors who have higher requirements for writing essays. I help students revise sentence structure, improve word choices, and make stronger arguments in their essays. I also help structure paragraphs individually and arrange them to create a more organized piece. My experience with the French language is eight years long and counting. I have been studying the language since eighth grade. I studied abroad for a semester (Spring, 2014) in Paris, France. I took 12 credits while there, all through classes taught in French, and vastly improved my communication skills and expanded my cultural knowledge. I will be returning to Paris this summer for a month to take six more French credits.

Hobbies

In my free time, I love going to concerts! I also disc golf regularly and enjoy painting and doing crafty projects. I'm interested in photography and like to go hiking not only for the exercise, but also to take pictures of nature. Traveling is something I hope to have lots of time for in the future; I enjoy exploring new places and learning about different cultures.
